She was shoved to the ground by a man she confronted about unpaid groceries on Sunday. While her family has reported the incident to the police, there are no updates regarding the whereabouts of the man as of this writing.
This is not the first assault Chang experienced while working at her grocery store, according to Ducky. His mother has allegedly been verbally and physically abused in the past by other customers.
“We had an incident when a woman came into the store, made a mess. Another woman came back looking for my mother as she was cleaning up the floor on her knees, and they punched her in the face. She came home with bruises all over her face around the eyes,” Ducky said.
