I was sucker punched on the Fulton J subway platform at approx 5:30pm today. Three punches to the face and kicked on the floor by 6’ Black male wearing red and black hoodie, probably around 18 yo with 2 other teenagers. Three of the witnesses who called for help and stayed with me until I was safe were Black/Brown. It was through their kindness, shared tears and embrace that I was able to get through this experience. Without their footage of the assailant, I wouldn’t even have known what the perp looked like so efforts could be made to apprehend them. We are still a community, we look out for one another, and I will never lose faith in love #blm #blacklivesmatter
