Yes, that’s you! Everyone can be a leader in creating safe communities for all. Your voice is powerful and we need you now.

Currently, very few people are aware of the prevalence and impact of anti-Asian hate in our country. Because of that, there’s very little support for Asians outside of Asian communities. Together, we can change this by working to raise awareness across all our communities and #StopAsianHate.

How can you start? With listening and learning. Watch the following two videos for the basics of the #StopAsianHate movement and why we need YOU. Talk to your small communities and watch these video. Then let’s learn more and get into action mode.

We need you now. You have the power to influence the people around you. Your 5 minutes. You don’t need a big network or big voice, just start conversations with people you know.

We can create safer communities for everyone. We start with understanding the problem for marginalized people. We can’t solve a problem if we cannot understand it. Most people do not see anti-Asian hate because they aren’t the target. That does not mean it doesn’t exist. When are open to listen, we can learn a lot.

Currently the level of awareness for anti-Asian hate is at 1/10. Because of this there is almost no community support for Asians outside of Asians. This needs to change. People who want to live in a safer, more inclusive community must take action.
